My name is Dylan Gates and I'm an English language teacher, teacher-educator, materials and course designer, aspiring edupreneur, and awful ukulele player.
I write about deep-end approaches to language learning and teaching like Dogme / Unplugged and Task-based language teaching (TBLT). I'm also interested in psychology, social constructivism, educational neuroscience, socio-emotional learning, and lots of other nerdy stuff.
I work on a freelance basis, dividing my time between business English training, teacher training, and my own projects.
I'm not a great user or fan of social media, but I spend a lot of time on LinkedIn where I run a group for Business English teachers.
I've also got a Gumroad page where I sell (for less than the price of a cup of coffee) ebooks for English Language teachers and learners.
